Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC seeks a Laboratory Analyst to perform and report laboratory analyses from multiple specimen sources, ensuring high-quality patient care. The role includes rotating shifts, including overnights, in a clinical setting, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's in Medical Technology or Laboratory Science, or equivalent, with MLT certification/experience preferred, and competencies demonstrated through exams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology/Laboratory Science or equivalent.
• Certification/MLT experience preferred.
• Military experience in related roles welcomed.
• Ability to work in a clinical environment following policies and procedures.
• Competency exams successfully completed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain productivity and manage multiple work processes.
• Handle specimens, confirm identification, and use accessioning procedures.
• Recognize discrepancies, resolve issues, and report problems.
• Perform instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, quality control, and replenish supplies.
• Follow reporting procedures and navigate multiple computer applications.
• Assist in training new employees and participate in ongoing education.
