Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related science required.
• If degree is in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science, must be certified as MLS(ASCP), MT(ASCP) or CLS(NCA) within 12 months of hire. Failure to be certified within 12 months of hire will result in being moved into a Non-certified MT position.
• If degree is in Biology, Chemistry, or other related science, must be certified as MLS(ASCP), MT(ASCP) or CLS(NCA) at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• The Medical Technologist performs complex procedures for clinical diagnostic purposes.
