Job summary

Mosaic Life Care in Saint Joseph, MO, is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform tests across Blood Bank, Chemistry, Coagulation, Hematology and Urinalysis under leadership. You will enter results, QC, maintain instruments, and support laboratory technicians while delivering excellent patient care.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in science, completion of approved clinical lab training, and eligibility for MT/MLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science required.
• No prior experience required; 8–10 week orientation provided.
• MLS/MT certification required within hire timeline.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests across Blood Bank, Chemistry, Coagulation, Hematology and Urinalysis.
• Enter results into LIS, run QC, and maintain instruments.
• Provide backup phlebotomy and assist with specimen collection.
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients, staff and providers.
