Qualifications

• California license as Clinical Laboratory Scientist required, CLIA qualifications.
• MLS/ASCP certification preferred.
• 1 year of CLS II experience or demonstrated CLS competencies.
• At least 4 years of evaluation/leadership in the specialty is preferred for senior roles.

Responsibilities

• Check test results for accuracy, reliability, and validity before reporting.
• Provide instruction to students and trainees; supervise non-licensed personnel.
• Participate in proficiency testing and address outliers or non-conformance events.
