Qualifications

• Requires CLS program graduate
• ASCP or equivalent certification preferred
• 1+ year clinical laboratory experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepares clear reports of test results for patient treatment decisions.
• Performs standard, complex and specialized tests within laboratory scope.
• Participates in development and evaluation of new procedures and instruments.
• Maintains professional competency through ongoing education and literature review.
• Plans techniques based on findings and accepted protocols.
• Troubleshoots instrument and test result issues to determine root causes.
