Mass General Brigham is hiring a Medical Laboratory Scientist II for the on-site Mass General Brigham facility in Boston, MA. The role involves performing both waived and non-waived testing under supervision, with responsibility for supervision and quality control across designated workstations.

A Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Laboratory Sciences and ASCP certification are required, with 2 years of lab experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Follow procedures for specimen handling and processing and report results.
• Maintain records for proficiency testing and quality control.
• Adhere to quality control policies and document calibrations and maintenance.
• Follow corrective action policies when test systems underperform.
• Identify problems affecting test performance and escalate as needed.
• Supervise and train staff; ensure accurate reporting and inventory control.
