Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a laboratory science or MLS-related field.
• Training and education of staff in clinical lab settings may be required.
• Strong English communication and computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and PPE usage; handle hazardous materials.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Evaluate new lab techniques and assist with data collection.
• Maintain and disinfect laboratory equipment and spaces.
• Support clinical staff and education as needed.
• Perform pre-analytical activities: specimen collection, inventory, and maintenance.
• Conduct post-analytical reporting and provide technical support.
• Complete tests and procedures according to SOPs.
• Participate in proficiency testing and regulatory compliance.
