Job summary

El Centro Regional Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to perform laboratory tests in accordance with quality control and quality assurance protocols. The role includes training staff and ensuring equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.

The incumbent should hold a Bachelor’s Degree and meet the State of California requirements for Clinical Lab Scientist licensure where applicable, contributing to accurate test results and patient care across the lab team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science or related field.
• California CLS alignment or licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests following QC/QA protocols.
• Train personnel in lab procedures and safety.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Position Pay Range: $35.06- $53.64/hour
