AdventHealth in Celebration, Florida, is seeking a part-time Clinical Laboratory Technologist. The role involves pre- and post-analytical lab duties, quality control, and proficiency testing in a high-standard setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a clinical or medical laboratory science field.
• Florida license as Clinical Laboratory Technologist (TN) required.
• 2+ years of clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• Ability to follow CLIA regulations and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-analytical activities including equipment maintenance, inventory control and specimen processing.
• Conduct post-analytical activities such as reporting results and providing technical support.
• Complete tests and procedures accurately following SOPs.
• Participate in proficiency testing and compliance with regulations.
• Assist with training of new staff and students as needed.
• Provide guidance to technicians and support staff on laboratory operations.
• Maintain safety protocols including PPE usage and waste handling.
• Contribute to performance improvement activities.
• Evaluate new lab techniques and support data collection.
