Job summary

• Assist with ordering and review processes in the clinical lab.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-analytical processing of biological specimens for clinical lab testing.
• Responsible for data entry of patient demographics and ordering information.
• Processes test orders, reviews orders, and reconciles specimen/order problems.
• Supports send-out testing, patient registration, requisition filing, supply management, and phone coverage.
• Ensures proper labeling of samples and distribution.
• Serves as primary resource for Specimen Receiving to address problems and identify resolutions.
