Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of clinical lab work experience or an equivalent education/experience
• Experience with lab/hospital computer systems and software
• Excellent written and verbal English communication
• Ability to work weekends and rotating shifts
• Ability to manage data entry and retrieval

Responsibilities

• Performs specimen processing and accessioning in the Central Processing area of the Main Lab
• Main duties include computer data entry, telephone reception, transporting specimens and printing/delivering lab reports
• Reviews lab reports and performs quality review and troubleshooting
