Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of clinical laboratory experience or equivalent education.
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
• Must be willing to provide weekend and holiday coverage on a rotational basis.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
• Ability to establish & maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.

Responsibilities

• Procure specimens and perform processing/handling of blood and blood components.
• Assist in equipment maintenance and quality control.
• Manage inventory and issue products for transfusion medicine.
• Handle data entry, maintain records, and answer phones.
• Provide test results to appropriate teams.
