Vetted Solutions is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Coordinator to oversee daily technical operations in a high-complexity laboratory and ensure high-quality testing and regulatory compliance.

The role involves supervising staff, validating new tests and equipment, and collaborating with leadership to optimize lab workflows and patient care. Approximately 50% of time is spent performing routine and complex testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in MLS/CLs (or related field).
• Experience in a high-complexity clinical lab and supervisory/leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support laboratory operations across departments and campuses.
• Provide advanced technical guidance on testing methodologies, policies, and procedures.
• Troubleshoot complex instrumentation, testing issues, and workflow challenges.
• Assist in validation, verification, and implementation of new tests and equipment.
• Serve as a resource for medical providers regarding test results and methodology.
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards, monitor QC and proficiency testing, and resolve quality issues.
• Support safety protocols, promote regulatory compliance, and oversee environmental safety.
• Train and mentor staff, assist in competency assessments, and foster staff development.
• Manage workflow, staffing, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure quality patient care and participate in committees for quality and safety.
• Assist leadership with operational planning and maintain regulatory documentation.
