Qualifications

• Zero to three years direct experience in a laboratory setting.
• Current State CLS license if necessary (e.g., California).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or life/physical sciences from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform moderate to highly complex clinical tests following procedures.
• Prepare and oversee reagents, media, stock solutions, and controls.
• Determine specimen acceptability and calculate results using manual or computerized procedures.
• Enter results accurately and monitor reporting; maintain turnaround times.
• Maintain equipment and perform QC, calibrations, and proficiency testing.
• Ensure safe, neat work area and effective communication with staff and customers.
