AdventHealth in Winter Garden, FL is seeking a Per Diem Phlebotomy Technician to perform cytopreparatory staining, accessions of surgical cases, and specimen handling. You will assist in cultures and maintenance of lab spaces, while following safety and inventory protocols.

The role requires High School graduation with phlebotomy training preferred; strong English communication and basic computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English; strong communication with patients and staff.
• High school graduate; phlebotomy training preferred.
• Experience with lab procedures and specimen handling is a plus.

Responsabilités

• May perform cytopreparatory staining and accessions surgical cases with anatomy knowledge.
• May receive and set up primary specimen cultures and inoculate petri dishes.
• May clean and disinfect equipment and manage inventory.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and educates clinical staff.
