St. Anthony North Hospital is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support specimen processing and intake in the laboratory. You will handle specimens, perform blood collection, and assist with CLIA-waived testing as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS-CPR certification must be obtained within 90 days.
• Preferred: Lab Assistant Program certification.
• Preferred: Phlebotomy program certificate.
• Preferred: Six months experience in an acute care facility.

Responsabilités

• Work primarily in laboratory specimen processing and intake; provide support for specimen management and clerical duties.
• Perform specimen processing daily and venous/capillary blood collections as required.
• Assist with CLIA-waived or moderately complex laboratory testing under supervision.
• Maintain accuracy and teamwork while following technical policies.
• Handle specimens with care and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Maintain equipment and inventory with proper documentation.

Formation

High School Diploma/G.E.D.

BLS-CPR within 90 days

Lab Assistant Program certification

Phlebotomy program certificate
