Job summary

Community Medical Center in Missoula, MT is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant to join the Laboratory team. You will perform waived and moderately complex tests, operate the LIS, and ensure quality control and safety compliance while interacting with patients and staff.

The role includes phlebotomy duties and accurate specimen handling. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with preferred experience in clinical labs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience performing waived/moderately complex tests preferred.
• Good communication and patient interaction skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report waived and moderately complex laboratory tests in chemistry, hematology, and microbiology.
• Operate a Laboratory Information System (LIS) and ensure accurate data entry.
• Adhere to safety regulations and quality control procedures.
• Perform phlebotomy duties as required and interact with patients to collect information.
