We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Laboratory Assistant with Phlebotomy experience to join Methodist Northeast Hospital's Laboratory Department. This PRN, non-exempt position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Processing specimens, preparing blood smears and slides, centrifuging specimens, and microbiology plating.
• Understanding laboratory methods, performing specimen processing, and conducting moderate complexity testing independently.
• Setting up instruments, performing basic maintenance, and conducting quality control and assurance.
• Handling clerical duties such as communication, data entry, filing, and inventory management.
• Potentially performing phlebotomy, point-of-care, and waived testing as assigned.

Minimum requirements:

• High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• Preferred: one year of clinical lab experience, including various lab tests.
