SHIFT

Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM. Possible rotating holidays and weekends.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Required

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 2 years of related laboratory experience. Related college laboratory classes may be accepted in lieu of experience.

Preferred

  • Education: Some College
JOB DUTIES
  • Handle and process specimens according to departmental protocols.
  • Perform duties such as specimen management, accessioning into LIS, preparing specimens for testing, basic technical tasks, submitting specimens to testing departments, and managing specimen storage and retention protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and accessible specimen storage systems, ensuring patient identification and confidentiality.
  • Ensure timely submission of specimens to reference laboratories.
  • Answer inquiries and provide verified test results using the LIS system.
  • Establish priorities and organize activities for efficient results. Complete functions within designated timeframes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
