Responsibilities

• May perform point-of-care testing, and quality control, maintenance, troubleshooting, documentation and result reporting.
• May perform blood specimen collection and processing, including transport and storage.
• Assist with clerical duties and reception as needed.
• Process specimens using laboratory information systems and standard procedures.
• Train new staff and students as a preceptor when assigned.
• Follow safety policies, PPE use and infection control guidelines.
