Required education is a High School Diploma or equivalent, with an Associate degree and ASCP/ASPT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree preferred.
• ASPT or ASCP Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs laboratory testing and clerical tasks as needed.
• Specimen accessioning and processing; basic phlebotomy as required.
• Acts as liaison between patients, physicians, nursing and laboratory staff.
