Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Clinical Service Desk Analyst I to provide IT clinical application customer support for EHR and related clinical systems in both Acute and Ambulatory settings. The role serves as a liaison between facilities, onsite support staff, and IT to communicate needs and drive system modifications to meet user needs.

The position emphasizes solving issues, triaging calls, and supporting varied teams and projects within Banner Health's clinical IT environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Healthcare certifications or clinical environment experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work under pressure and coordinate with many teams.

Responsibilities

• Answer and triage inquiries from the Clinical Service Desk queue in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with IT Clinical Application, Education, and IT teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain knowledge of Healthcare IT trends and clinical workflows to support patient care outcomes.
• Provide training support and contribute to post-implementation change evaluations.
• Escalate critical issues to leadership and communicate with users effectively.
