Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an IT Engagement Owner to lead the operational management of IT Clinical Application Support services, ensuring quality outcomes and superior service across multiple locations in the Central Division of the Phoenix Metro Area. This is an on-site exempt position with a typical schedule of Monday–Friday 8a–5p, with rotation across supported facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of leadership experience in IT and clinical informatics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent level of education and experience.
• Advanced level working knowledge of information technology and clinical informatics in a healthcare setting.
• Minimum five plus years including at least two years in a management role within a healthcare system or large multi-operational environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to recruit, mentor, motivate, evaluate, and retain staff.

Responsibilities

• Directs operational management of IT Clinical Application Support services across multiple locations.
• Leads development and implementation of processes to improve customer support and service delivery.
• Collaborates with business and IT leaders to identify operational requirements and drive initiatives.
• Directs and participates in policy development to comply with laws and regulations and improve clinical functionality of systems.
