Job summary

Stanford Health Care is seeking an IT Supervisor to lead teams that support lab and pathology systems, including Epic CP/AP modules. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with service delivery, process improvement, and coaching across staff.

You will supervise day-to-day operations, coordinate workflows with multiple IT groups, and help shape the technical roadmap while ensuring uninterrupted IT services for Stanford Healthcare/Medicine's business processes.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree required with 5 years as an individual contributor or 3 years supervisory experience in a health system setting.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Three (3) years of progressive responsibility as a clinical or business systems analyst in a professional applications management setting.
  • Experience in a health care provider setting is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day supervision, coaching, and regular one-on-one feedback to assigned staff; set and monitor objectives.
  • Support onboarding and skill development for team members; coach staff on software, configurations, and workflows.
  • Recommend hiring decisions and performance actions to the Manager; document actions accordingly.
  • Manage day-to-day delivery against SLAs; guide incident, problem, maintenance, and enhancement ticket resolution.
  • Serve as onsite/operational focal point for user support; conduct periodic onsite visits to identify issues.
  • Provide ongoing troubleshooting and maintenance support; participate in on-call coverage and rotation planning.
