Job summary

Yale NewHaven Health is seeking an Inventory/Procurement Specialist to manage supply needs for the IR/CATH labs and Radiology Suite. You will perform inventory control, barcoded receiving, and data entry in the Q-Site and Lawson systems to ensure accurate charges and cost efficiency.

The role requires 2–4 years in supply chain or clinical settings, strong PC skills, and a proactive approach to reducing waste and optimizing stock levels.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required or equivalent work experience.
• 2–4 years experience in supply chain management and/or clinical function.
• Proficiency with general PC tools (spreadsheets, word processing).
• Strong time management, accuracy, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Procure IR/CATH Lab and Radiology supplies; maintain database integrity and manage backorders.
• Receive products, scan barcodes, and manually enter items when needed; ensure proper labeling for charging.
• Review interface exceptions daily and coordinate with Charge Master Analyst/Procurement to resolve issues.
• Load new products into the Materials Management Lawson system; coordinate product returns.
• Perform replenishment, optimize storage space, and reorganize stocking locations for efficiency.
• Recommend PAR levels and stocking locations; assist with annual fiscal inventory.
• Distribute and restock supplies to nursing units; verify Par Excellence cabinet accuracy.
• Assist in SPD ordering and replenishment during PTO and support MMIS tasks.
