More About Our Team

The Sovah School of Health Professionals is on the Sovah Health campus in Danville. It offers a full‑time, two‑year program that prepares students for careers in healthcare through hands‑on training. Our radiologic technology program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee (JRCERT).

How You'll Contribute
  • Supervise, evaluate, and grade students in clinical environments. Serve as a consultant to staff on program development, clinical practice, and professional development.
  • Design, implement, and assess learning activities and curricula related to clinical competencies, policies, regulatory requirements, and use of clinical information technologies.
  • Serve as a member of the Advisory Committee, holding equal responsibility in the program’s accreditation process.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should be graduates of a program in Radiologic Technology and hold an Associates' degree in Radiologic Technology.

  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
  • Licensure by the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Health Professionals is required.
  • 1 year of experience as an ARRT registered Radiologic Technologist is required.
  • Membership in the Virginia and American Societies of Radiologic Technologists is preferred.
