Job summary

Bucks County Community College is seeking a Part-Time Clinical Instructor for the Practical Nursing Program to deliver high-quality clinical instruction. This role requires a BSN, an active Pennsylvania RN license, and strong leadership and communication skills.

The schedule is three days a week with a maximum student ratio of 8:1. Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs. and will need to obtain necessary background clearances before the start date.

Bucks County Community College is seeking a Part‑Time Clinical Instructor to deliver high‑quality clinical instruction for the Practical Nursing Program.

Position Details

• Schedule: Three days per week (Monday – Wednesday), daytime hours
• Student/Instructor Ratio: Maximum 8:1
• Location: Clinical setting

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality clinical instruction for the Practical Nursing Program
• Collaborate with academic staff and students to help them meet their goal of joining the nursing profession

Minimum Qualifications

• BSN minimum plus 3–5 years working as an RN
• Current, active Pennsylvania RN License
• Ability to demonstrate leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to problem‑solve and demonstrate critical thinking skills
• Ability to work well with others and demonstrate excellent communication skills
• Basic Life Support Certification for Health Care Providers
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualification

• Prior nursing education experience

Additional Requirements

• Obtain PA Child Abuse, PA Background check, and FBI Fingerprinting clearances prior to start date
