Job summary

Job description

Nurse Aide Training Program Instructor – Newtown, Bristol, Perkasie Campuses

Position: 12‑week instructor position, 10–25 hours per week (Fall, Spring, Summer). The Instructor (RN or LPN) is responsible for 100% of the training.

The Nurse Aide Instructor will abide by all standards, guidelines, regulations and contract rules of Bucks County Community College, the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE), the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) and the affiliated Long‑Term Care Facility during classroom, skills lab, and clinical instruction.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing with the PA State Board of Nursing.
• Minimum of 2,000 clinical hours in a skilled long‑term facility over the course of one year.
• Passing PA criminal background check, child‑abuse clearance, and 2‑step PPD test.
• Teaching the Educator/Train the Trainer Certification (TTE).
