Job summary

Dunwoody College of Technology is seeking a dedicated clinical educator to assess student progress at clinical education sites. This full-time position offers the flexibility of hybrid work arrangements while emphasizing work-life balance with over 35 days off per year.

You will work closely with clinical instructors to ensure instructional consistency and provide dynamic feedback to radiography students during their clinical rotations.

Responsibilities

• Visit each clinical education site on a regular basis and work with students to assess progress.
• Act as a liaison between the college and the clinical education site.
• Coordinate with other clinical instructors to develop a schedule of clinical visits.
• Assist with the transfer of didactic knowledge to the clinical setting.
• Perform competency and random competency evaluations.
• Provide appropriate performance feedback to students.

Responsibilities

• Visit each clinical education site on a regular basis (at least every two weeks) and work with students to assess progress.
• Act as a liaison between the college, the program and the clinical education site.
• Coordinate with the other clinical instructor to develop a schedule of clinical visits.
• Assist with transfer of didactic knowledge to the clinical setting.
• Confer with on-site clinical instructors and staff technologists to maintain consistency of instruction, expectations, and evaluation of students.
• Perform competency and random competency evaluations.
• While working with students, provide appropriate performance feedback.
• Confer with on-site clinical instructors and staff technologists to assess progress of radiography students.
