Job summary

Virtua in Marlton, NJ seeks a Clinical Informaticist to collaborate with organizational leaders and front-line users to drive clinical transformation and IT governance across care settings. You will leverage data to identify barriers, support workflows, and optimize Epic and other EMR systems to enhance patient outcomes and reduce alert fatigue.

The role requires 4+ years of clinical practice, an advanced informatics degree, and Epic certification.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of clinical practice in a healthcare environment.
• Masters degree in Nursing or Clinical Informatics or allied health field.
• Epic Clinical Builder Certification within 6 months of hire; Epic certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with organizational leaders and end users to support clinical transformation and IT governance.
• Analyze and document current and future workflows to streamline processes and reduce failure points.
• Support the implementation and optimization of IT applications and new systems through design, build, testing, training, implementation, and sustainability phases.
• Identify barriers to care through data and inform operational decisions.
• Monitor and optimize clinical systems to improve user satisfaction, adoption, and patient outcomes.
