Job summary

Nordic Healthcare Group (NHG) is seeking a Clinical Informatics Analyst to participate in planning, development, implementation, education, and training of clinical systems that directly impact patient care. The analyst will identify and analyze clinical practices and processes to recommend modifications that enhance care delivery.

The role includes evaluating and maintaining clinical systems, providing hands-on support on patient care units, and collaborating with care teams to maximize IT use.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited clinical program required (e.g., RN, RT, PT, OT, SLP). Associate degree or bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
• Currently licensed as a clinician in the state of South Carolina or holds a current compact/multi-state license in a recognized compact state if not a permanent resident of SC.
• Proven analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in ITIL-aligned service management processes, including Incident, Request, and Change Management
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Experience in managing application support and documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supporting the deployment of clinical information systems for all clients; Provide “at the elbow” technical support. 10%
• Participate in the development of clinical information systems content and design; Researching and evaluating best practice standards. 15%
• Participate in the testing, evaluation, and maintenance of clinical systems; Provide feedback regularly. 15%
• Provide a consistent presence where care is provided to support clinical transformation and assist staff in maximizing the use of information technology. 10%
• Facilitate communication and foster collaborative relationships with clinical and non-clinical users that interface with clinical systems. 15%
• Demonstrate and maintain proficient use of currently installed information systems. 10%
• Prioritize and respond to support needs of clients; articulate the plan to address client needs and complete follow up and evaluation. 10%
• Recommend modifications/solutions to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of clinical care and workflow; Participate in ongoing refinement of systems. 15%
• Performs other job duties and responsibilities as required.
