Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Informaticist to drive the science of informatics, design, simplify and translate technology to support patient care across the Intermountain Health system.

The role partners with clinicians and IT teams to analyze workflows, implement health IT, train users, adopt new processes, and lead moderately complex projects while expanding clinical informatics expertise.

Qualifications

Experience engaging providers, nurses, and clinicians through effective presentation and communication.
Experience applying informatics fundamentals (People, Process, Technology) to impact quality and safety.
Experience participating and leading deliverables of Informatics projects.
Experience working with Cerner, Epic, or other EHR vendors.
Registered Nurse or other licensed clinical incumbents must hold and maintain current state licensure.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business and clinical users to analyze workflows and design functional requirements.
Support implementation, training, adoption, and process improvement of health information technology (HIT).
Observe workflows across Intermountain facilities to inform deployments and improvements.
Act as liaison between clinical staff and software development/application teams.
Apply informatics principles to lead moderately complex projects with limited supervision.
