Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in clinical informatics, clinical application support, or health IT.
• Hands-on experience configuring and supporting EHR systems; Athenahealth is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, APIs and interoperability standards.
• Excellent communication and change management skills with the ability to translate clinical needs into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical informatics initiatives that support integration and optimization of EHR and other clinical systems.
• Collaborate with product, IT, and data teams to reflect clinical requirements in platform design and functionality.
• Gather and prioritize provider and clinical staff feedback to support system improvements and user experience enhancements.
• Contribute to interoperability efforts, including evaluation of data exchange standards, APIs, and vendor integrations.
• Configure and maintain clinical applications (e.g., Athenahealth, Elation) to align with evolving workflows.
• Provide tier-2 support for application-related issues and escalate to vendors or IT as needed.
• Participate in software upgrades, testing, and system validation.
• Develop training materials, job aids, and go-live support for providers, nurses, and operations staff.
• Document clinical workflows and maintain system configuration records.

Pay range may vary depending on work location, applicable knowledge, skills, and experience.
