Job summary

Access Community Health Center in Madison, WI seeks a Clinical Informatics Consultant to leverage healthcare knowledge, analytics, and change management to identify and facilitate the adoption of clinical information systems and technologies that support and improve the patient, family, and clinician's experience.

Develops trusted advisor relationships with business, clinical, and operations leaders that include guidance for optimizing use of technology capabilities and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in healthcare, education or IT.
• Epic Certification for assigned support area within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Leads adoption of clinical information systems and technologies to improve patient, family, and clinician experience.
• Develops trusted advisor relationships with business, clinical and operations leaders.
• Coordinates with clinical operations, information services, and system users to enhance adoption and value of technology solutions.
• Partners with UW Health IS on tickets, projects and changes.

Clinical Informatics Consultant

Position Summary:

The Clinical Informatics Consultant leverages healthcare knowledge, critical thinking, analytics, and change management strategies to identify and facilitate the adoption of clinical information systems and technologies that support and improve the patient, family, and clinician's experience. Develops and maintains trusted advisor relationships with business, clinical, and operations leaders that include guidance for optimizing use of technology capabilities and deliverables.

The Clinical Information Services Consultant serves as a liaison with clinical care teams and develops trusted advisor relationships with a variety of colleagues and stakeholders across Access, partners, and affiliates. The Consultant coordinates with others to enhance the adoption, value, and efficiency of technology solutions and platforms. Serves as a liaison between clinical operations, information services (IS), and system users. Partner with UW Health IS and informatics teams on tickets, projects and changes.

Desired candidate would have the following qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in healthcare, education or IT.
• Epic Certification for assigned support area (Ambulatory, Wisdom, Cadence, Prelude and other badges as needed) within 1 year of employment

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
• Epic Certification for assigned support area (Ambulatory, Wisdom, Cadence, Prelude and other badges as needed).
• Clinical Informatics experience
• Experience with Epic health record
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite and core applications
• Experience working with a Federally Qualified Healthcare Center (FQHC).
• Familiarity with LEAN process improvement or equivalent methodology

Compensation and Benefits:
