Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Medical Scribe to support primary care providers with real-time documentation. You will observe visits, document encounters, and help maintain accurate notes to enable clinicians to focus on patient care.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a clinical setting and familiarity with value-based care and CPT/ICD-10 coding. In-person clinic work with opportunities for growth in health informatics and medical coding.

Qualifications

• Advanced listening and communication skills.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new technical workflows.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by people in the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

• Documenting patient encounters in structured notes with history, assessment, plan, and exam.
• Assigning appropriate CPT and ICD-10 codes.
• Preparing After Visit Summaries and supporting clinical documentation improvement.
