Job summary

Sierra View Medical Center in Porterville, CA seeks a Clinical Analyst RN (RN - Non Bedside) to lead the installation, support and maintenance of clincal applications, including implementation of new modules and incident resolution with the Help Desk. Reporting to the Director of Informatics and Technology, the role requires acute hospital nursing experience, Meditech knowledge, and strong communication skills.

The position may involve on-call duties and holiday coverage.

Qualifications

Three (3)-five (5) years of Acute hospital clinical experience required.
Knowledge of Meditech clinical systems required.
Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required within 3 years of hire.
Experience in implementation of a clinical information system in an acute hospital preferred.
A demonstrated interest in Healthcare Information Technology.
Effective oral and written communication skills are integral to the position.

Responsibilities

Participates on project implementation teams to assist with new module development, testing and implementation, and validate clinical workflow.
Maintains facility-specific dictionaries within the Meditech system.
Acts as Clinical Liaison and provides leadership to clinical departments to implement and maintain clinical system processes.
Assists with resolution and troubleshooting of complex issues from Help Desk or other departments.
Provides on-call assistance for Clinical and Medical Staff as assigned.
Collaborates with Education Department and Hospital Leadership to develop training materials for clinical information systems.
