Job summary

North Shore Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Informatics Manager to lead the evaluation, design, and deployment of clinical information systems. You will collaborate with clinicians, nurses, and IT professionals to optimize the EMR and related applications, provide training, and drive system enhancements.

The role requires coordinating with leadership, supporting performance improvement, and maintaining secure, efficient workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years total between clinical and informatics experience.
• Current, valid RN license in state of primary work locale.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA/IS degree preferred.
• 4-5 years experience in implementing or upgrading an application in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee two or more software applications, including implementation and upgrades.
• Coordinate with clinicians to design, test, train, implement, and evaluate clinical applications.
• Provide 24hr on-call support to nursing departments for clinical applications.
• Mentor new hires and communicate project status with leadership.
