Job summary

On Time Talent Solutions seeks a Clinical Informatics Educator in Saint Paul to coach junior staff, design training and develop materials for clinical informatics initiatives.

You will lead educational programming for physicians, nurses and staff, create quick tips and mini programs, and implement training to support adoption of computer applications while collaborating with hospital leaders to improve operations and regulatory preparedness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Education, or IT.
• Master’s degree in Nursing, Education, or Informatics or Board Certified in Nursing Informatics preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc).

Responsibilities

• Provide educational programming and support in the clinical settings, to develop informatics expertise in physicians, nurses and other staff
• Design quick tips, mini programs, web references, etc. to continuously expand the informatics knowledge of the clinician and assists clinicians in identifying new workflows
• Develop and implement educational training programs which support the successful adoption of computer applications and critical components into the patient care process
• Round with clinical end-users to support, identify, and mitigate issues with clinical information systems
• Utilize and incorporate analytics, and formal and informal feedback to support evidence-based documentation standards
• Develop partnerships with key hospital leaders to improve hospital operations, outcomes, and regulatory preparedness
