Job summary

Providence seeks a Sr. Manager of Clinical Informatics Education and Adoption to lead education goals for EHR deployments, sustainment, and optimization.

This role combines instructional design, adult learning, training, and healthcare informatics to guide teams delivering change communications and learning materials for safe IT use in clinical and business settings. Reporting to enterprise information services leadership, you will coordinate with co-managers on training environment management,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Organizational Development, Informatics, healthcare, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 6 years of Education experience in an information services or training setting along with 3 or more years of management experience. Healthcare information services operations and support
• 4 years of Leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, leadership, and coaching to CI education teams responsible for design, development, publication, and maintenance of change communications and learning deliverables
• Lead cross-team initiatives such as training environment management, project resourcing, Credential Trainer programs, and education evaluation
• Partner with co-managers to set standards for publication platforms, learning materials, and evaluation
• Support adoption and optimization activities to promote safe, effective, and efficient use of information technology in clinical and business settings
