Orion Groups seeks a Clinical Informatics Director to lead, monitor and train the CI team for Wisconsin, reporting to Wisconsin’s RTO and interacting with clinical leaders such as CNOs and CMOs. The role will also lead Epic optimization and end-user adoption while overseeing high-priority clinical informatics projects.

Primary onsite in the North Milwaukee office with occasional hospital visits (1–2 times per month); flexible to work from home 1–2 days per week when business needs allow.

Qualifications

• Experience navigating EMRs, especially EPIC.
• Knowledge of ambulatory and acute clinical workflows.
• Leadership experience at the director level.
• Healthcare terminology and code sets (SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10, CPT).
• Onsite primarily in North Milwaukee with occasional travel.

Responsabilités

• Bridge the gap between people, processes, clinical information and technology in inpatient/ambulatory settings.
• Promote optimal use of clinical information systems for patient care and safety.
• Lead moderately complex projects and analyze organizational needs.
• Develop policies and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Design and deliver training materials for users of information technologies.
• Recruit clinicians for work groups and validate competencies.
• Prepare reports for leadership on project status.
• Support implementation and optimization of health IT initiatives.
