Job summary

North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services is seeking a Nurse Supervisor III – Clinical Informatics Director at Broughton Hospital to lead nursing practice, technology, data and patient care. You will shape EHR and CIS adoption, ensuring workflows meet regulatory needs and user requirements.

This role drives strategic informatics leadership, staff supervision, training, change management, and governance participation to standardize and improve care across the organization.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina.
• Four years of nursing experience, including two years in a Nurse Supervisor capacity.
• Experience with electronic health records and clinical information systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise departmental staff and daily operations.
• Plan, develop, implement, and optimize EMR and CIS.
• Evaluate clinical information systems to support safe, efficient, compliant practice.
• Provide education, training, coaching, and ongoing system user support.
