Woodlawn Hospital seeks a Clinical Informatics Coordinator / LPN to lead EHR implementation and training across Woodlawn Hospital and clinics. This role develops departmental competencies and assists with system evaluation, enabling clinicians to chart efficiently and accurately.
The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with Indiana LPN/RN licensure, maintain BLS certification, and bring prior charting experience. EMR training is provided.
Clinical Informatics Coordinator / LPN Position Description: Oversees and/or coordinates implementation and training of the Electronic Health Record throughout Woodlawn Hospital and Woodlawn Medical Professional Clinics. Includes but is not limited to development of departmental competencies and assistance with implementation and process evaluation. Will assist with organizational education as appropriate. Proficiency in the use of computers and information technology. Applicant should have prior experience in charting and enjoy working on the technical side of medical charts. Training in the EMR system would be provided.
This individual must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and must hold a current LPN and/or RN licensure in the state of Indiana. Maintains this licensure and provides Human Resources and I.S. Director with any licensure renewals or changes. Must possess and maintain Basic Life Support certification per hospital policy. Previous experience with an Electronic Health Record is preferred.
