Qualifications

• GE Centricity Perinatal (CPN) experience required.
• Strong knowledge of Labor & Delivery clinical workflows.
• Experience with EMRs and clinical information systems in acute care.
• Solid understanding of healthcare data, documentation standards, and clinical informatics.
• Familiar with healthcare terminologies (SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10, CPT).

Responsibilities

• Work onsite with Labor & Delivery teams to understand workflows and identify process improvements.
• Provide workflow analysis and redesign to reduce double documentation and inefficiencies.
• Support, configure, and enhance GE Centricity Perinatal (CPN) solutions.
• Submit and manage system change requests, coordinate testing, and validate implementations.
• Participate in meetings, lead workgroups, and support users through go-live and optimization.
• Develop training materials and provide user education as needed.

OPPORTUNITY

3-month contract with extension; Onsite: Baltimore, Maryland, USA

SALARY

$140,000 – $155,000 or $67-74/hourly W2 contract plus benefits

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work onsite with Labor & Delivery teams to understand current workflows and identify process improvement opportunities.

• Provide workflow analysis and redesign to address double documentation and inefficiencies.

• Support, configure, and enhance GE Centricity Perinatal (CPN) solutions.

• Submit and manage system change requests, coordinate testing, and validate successful implementation.

• Participate in meetings, lead workgroups, and support clinical users through go‑live and optimization efforts.

• Develop training materials and provide user education as needed.

• Ensure systems and workflows comply with clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards.

KEY EXPERIENCE

• GE Centricity Perinatal (CPN) experience – required

• Strong knowledge of Labor & Delivery clinical workflows

• Experience working with EMRs and clinical information systems in acute care settings

• Solid understanding of healthcare data, documentation standards, and clinical informatics

• Knowledgeable with healthcare terminologies and code sets (SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD ‑ 10, CPT, etc.)

• Independent, critical thinker comfortable working in a dynamic clinical environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Informatics, Healthcare, IT, or equivalent relevant experience

INTERVIEW PROCESS

• Quick turnaround: preliminary interview followed by team interview on phone and Google Meets.

• Typically, one round with the hiring manager, joined by the team (virtual interview), possibly two rounds if necessary.
