Job summary

The Clinical Informatics Systems Analyst I at CHRISTUS Health supports operation of clinical information systems across a large multi-regional health system. You will work with clinical and technical teams to optimize workflows, support incidents and changes, and ensure patient safety through standardized processes.

This exempt, full-time role requires strong healthcare knowledge, minimal supervision, and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of clinical/technical application experience in lieu of degree.
• Preferred 1–3 years of clinical information systems experience or equivalent.
• Epic certification/accreditation preferred; may be required to certify within 90 days of hire.
• Strong knowledge of clinical informatics and data management.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Clinical Informatics to drive goals and vision for the department and CHRISTUS Health.
• Develop, test, implement, support, and maintain assigned clinical applications and related business processes.
• Provide on-going end user support with upgrades, new releases and enhanced functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues and escalate when needed.
• Communicate system changes, new functionality, and downtime procedures to clinical end users.
• Foster relationships with ministry leadership to ensure alignment with business and financial requirements.
