Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking an IT professional who develops, analyzes, and mentors staff on technical solutions for clinical applications. The role reviews architectures and designs, optimizes solutions, and guides projects with complex technical requirements.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in major system design, 2+ years in a clinical setting, and knowledge of Epic modules. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in major system design and implementation.
• 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
• Experience in and in-depth knowledge of team-specific applications and technologies (product certifications where applicable).
• For Epic team, experience in and broad knowledge of multiple Epic modules and their interaction and expert knowledge of team-specific modules with appropriate certifications/proficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Acts as liaison between and across applications analyst teams and technical teams and participates in cross-team assessment of new projects and needs.
• Advocates for end users and business partners, provides technical consulting and support to operational owners and leaders.
• Facilitates business partnerships with Information Systems & Technology, and advises cross-department committees and initiatives.
• Communicates with and educates business partner teams with information regarding applications, projects, policies, and initiatives, with emphasis on consistency, quality, and compliance.
• Provides and leads complex support services with little management input, including applications software support and vendor liaison activities.
• Assists in orientation of new team members and mentoring of staff members.
• Follows regulatory, enterprise, and departmental policies and service level agreements.
• Acts as a positive influence and change agent for compliance.
