Qualifications

• MSW from a CSWE-approved graduate school.
• 1 year of experience in the department or 2 years healthcare experience for external candidates.
• Full licensure in Clinical Social Work in applicable state and/or SC; certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform biopsychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans with the care team.
• Provide brief psychotherapy and supportive counseling to patients and families.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams to address patient needs.
• Advocate for patients and families throughout the care continuum.
• Mentor provisionally licensed social workers and guide new staff.
