Job summary

NYU Langone Health Faculty Group Practice is seeking a Faculty Group Practice Patient Care Assistant to support reception, registration and clinical tasks within NYS scope. You will help manage patient flow, check-in/out, document in EPIC, and assist with preparing exam rooms and coordinating with providers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; MA certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of English in verbal, reading, writing abilities.
• Experience as a Patient Care Assistant or Medical Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and completes check-in and check-out processes as needed.
• Answers phones and schedules appointments.
• Ensures patient privacy and HIPAA compliance throughout interactions.
• Assists with preparing exam rooms and coordinating with providers.
• Uses EPIC to review and update patient records and communicate with staff.
