Job summary

Central Ohio Primary Care seeks a Clinical Float to support care areas with the greatest need across COPC sites in Columbus, OH. This full-time position emphasizes rapid, high-quality patient care, safety, and efficient use of resources within evidence-based practices.

The role requires traveling between COPC sites, preparing patients, taking histories and vital signs, maintaining records in the EHR, and assisting with injections and minor procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of MA, RN or LPN with Ohio license required.
• Prior medical office experience preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation and ability to travel across COPC sites.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and treatment with appropriate histories and vital signs.
• Maintain patient files, records and lab/radiology results; document in EHR.
• Prepare exam rooms; sterilize equipment and adhere to OSHA/CLIA.
• Administer injections, draw blood, assist with minor procedures.
• Order and maintain clinical/office supplies as needed.
• Assist with scheduling tests and treatments; attend required meetings.
• Maintain quality assurance and effective communications with staff and patients.
• Travel to COPC sites and support area teams as assigned.
