Job summary

MetroHealth in Ohio seeks an Advanced Practice Primary Care Float to travel to different community locations and provide coverage for providers who are out on leave. The schedule is known in advance and covers patients across the lifespan, delivering high-quality care.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of patient clinical experience as an Advanced Practice Provider, with 2+ years preferred. Current Ohio licensure is required, and the ability to obtain clinical privileges within 90 days of placement

Qualifications

• 1 year of patient clinical experience as an Advanced Practice Provider required.
• 2+ years of patient clinical experience as an Advanced Practice Provider preferred.
• Current licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Ability to prioritize work assignments and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to meet qualifications for clinical privileges within 90 days of placement and maintain privileges.

Responsibilities

• Travel to different community locations to provide coverage for providers who are out on leave (schedule known in advance).
• Deliver care to patients across the lifespan while covering assigned locations.
