Job summary

IRG Physical & Hand Therapy is seeking an Exercise Specialist to guide patients through therapist-prescribed exercise programs and support their recovery goals. You will assist with modalities, set up treatment spaces, and help maintain a safe clinical environment while building strong patient relationships.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred in exercise-related fields) and patient-facing experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Health Sciences, or related field preferred.
• Customer service or patient-facing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of body mechanics and safe movement.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through therapist-prescribed exercise programs.
• Assist with therapeutic modalities and treatment setup.
• Provide encouragement and education to help patients achieve their goals.
• Prepare, maintain, and clean a safe clinical environment.
• Build positive, professional relationships with patients.
• Utilize EMR and other clinic systems.
